Questions & Answers
“Do you have a COVID-19 Safety Program?”
The recent COVID-19 epidemic has changed the way everyone does business. Supplementing our ongoing safety programs and third party safety consultant trainings, we developed our COVID-19 jobsite rules which adhere to the recent guidelines published by the CDC and CAL/OSHA. With Health and Safety as our top priority, we make sure everyone on our team and anyone on our jobsite follows these protocols.
“What is your Mixed C&D Waste Recycling Rate”
Our Diversion rates range from 75.38 up to 89.49 depending on the C&D Recycling facility where we drop off the waste. We also work with each facility to provide you with the accurate weight certificates to fulfill the requirements of C&D Deposit Reimbursements, LEED Requirements and BOMA Toby Award Documentation. Our goal is to divert as much waste as possible from our local landfills because future generations depend on it.
“Are you Union?”
We are not affiliated with a local union, however, our company mirrors the union philosophy in providing higher wages, health insurance, and ongoing training, so our teams can be better skilled, trained and provide superior service to our clients. We also mirror local union holidays to give our employees the time off.
“Do you do LEED Projects?”
The short answer is Yes! At Legendary, we are committed to incorporating the principles of sustainability into our everyday work practices, thereby creating greater value for our clients and communities. We take a practical approach to sustainability, analyzing the implications of how the project waste will impact our clients, communities and the environment in, both the short and long term. “What is your EMR Safety Rate?”
We currently have a perfect safety record with zero incidents or loss time. We also haven’t had any OSHA Violations. At Legendary, we believe that Safety doesn’t happen by accident, - which is why our company safety programs are thoroughly planned, adjusted and developed for each specific Legendary project site.
Although our safety record is impeccable, We currently are not eligible for an EMR Rate. The California WCIRB requires a (5) year record of workers comp claims and as a new company, we will have to wait.
