Interior Demolition

We’re not just another Demolition company. We pride ourselves on exceeding the expectations of Building Engineers and Property Managers and in abiding by the building rules and regulations that govern Interior demolition, in class A Buildings, occupied areas, healthcare facilities, schools and hotels.

The Legendary process starts from inception, prior to demolition, when our estimators walk the existing field conditions and confirm the full scope of work by reviewing all construction documents including MEP and Structural. This due diligence ensures solid pricing with no surprise cost impacts down the line, allowing our customers to stay within budget.

Prior to starting the physical demolition, our field will confirm safe-off of MEP’s and will locates all MEP Shut-offs to share with the rest of the team in preparation of any emergencies that may arise. Once confirmed and when applicable, our Field fully protects items and areas to remain, covers all smoke detectors, adds Merv filters over return air grills and protects the path of travel.

With Safety as the number one priority, the Legendary process, maximizes the ability to expedite the schedule while maintaining a clean and organized project. This includes only removing what we can fill in dumpsters daily or nightly or coning off rubbish areas. By doing this, we create a safe environment for our team and anyone walking the project while we are off site.

 

Sawcut, Break & Remove

Sawcut and Breaking Noise can be a nuisance to local residents or businesses. Restrictions may be put in place by a local authority to help control the noise levels emitting from the construction site. With that in mind, Legendary Demo’s noise monitoring systems are put in place to ensure we do not exceed Osha decibel Limits. Our process also includes noise & vibration reduction where possible.

With our collaborative approach to demolition, we review the sawcut layout with the General Contractor to help minimize the amount of concrete patch back. If requested, we can also provide osha approved trench covers to remain when we as the demo subcontractor are no longer on site.

Lease Ready White Box

In the last few years, many Southern California landlords have found that providing a space in white box condition can expedite the ability to lease a space. Because the bulk of the white box is the demolition, it makes sense to hire a Demolition contractor like Legendary who not only holds a CA. C-21 Demo License, but also holds a CA. B General Contractors license. These licenses give us the ability to hire the MEP subs direct for safe off and contract with the painting, patching and floor grinding subs to become a one stop shop for landlord white box construction. We don’t go beyond white box construction as we leave the TI to the general contractors who are experts in full build outs.

C&D Recycling

The LA Sanitation Department identified a list of (10) local city of Los Angeles Certified Processors for the calendar year of 2024. At Legendary Demo, We are proud to annouce that we teamed up with the facility with the highest diversion rate in the city. With a certified diversion rate of over 90%, we are confident we exceed the diversion rates of our competitors. With a goal of diverting as much waste as possible from the Landfills, Our Location allows us the ability to partner with the C&D facility that can provide the highest diversion rate without having to charge the client a premium for driving to the outskirts of the city. Additionally, We work with our C&D Recycling Partner to streamline the process of providing you with accurate weight certificates to fulfill the requirements of C&D Deposit Reimbursements, LEED Requirements and BOMA Toby Award Documentation.

Rubbish Removal

We excel at the ability to manage experienced demolition laborers to remove the rubbish from your job sites. Using our dump trucks, stake beds and rubbish containers we can quickly and efficiently remove rubbish from your site straight to the C&D Recycling facility.
